Coarse-grain blocks, sheets and surfaces for furniture, lighting and product design.
Designers come to cork for the same reasons they come to walnut or wool: a material with character, warmth and a story. Our agglomerates arrive as machinable blocks and sheets that turn, route and finish like a fine engineered wood.
Cork sits comfortably in the studio next to oak, leather and brass. It carries warmth without pretending to be wood, and tactility without pretending to be textile. Designers tell us they specify it when they want a surface the user will actually want to touch.
We supply furniture and product studios in two formats: machinable blocks for cores and seats, and thin agglomerated sheets for surfaces and lighting. Both ship raw — the studio decides whether to oil, lacquer or leave the material open.
