Custom project
Custom furniture
Seating, tables, partitions and modular pieces built from drawing to delivered object.
Designers come to cork the way they come to walnut or wool — for a material with character. We supply the machinable cork blocks and sheets, and we partner with studios on the production of finished pieces.
Most studios start with a sketch and a question — can this be done in cork? Usually it can. The conversation that follows is about density (how the piece will feel under the hand), grain (how it will read at a distance) and finish (whether to keep the cork open or close it with oil or lacquer).
We make a sample, refine it with the studio, then produce the run. Short series and prototypes are part of how we work, not an exception.
What we deliver
From drawing to installed piece.
- Cork blocks machined to the studio's CAD
- Seating cores, table tops, screens and shelving
- Limited editions, prototype runs and short series
- Finishes from raw to oiled, lacquered or dyed
Why cork here
Workable like wood
Our agglomerated blocks turn, route and finish on standard joinery equipment. No special tooling required.
Quiet and warm
Cork softens a room and reads as honest. Studios specify it for pieces meant to be touched, sat on, and lived with.
From single piece to short series
We support studio runs — a prototype, ten units or a hundred — without forcing the studio into an industrial MOQ.
