CIRCULAR ECONOMY

The two industrial units follow the principles of the circular economy and sustainability by applying the 3Rs policy - reduce, reuse and recycle.

The waste resulting from the production of natural and technical cork stoppers are reused to produce cork granulates.

End-of-life cork articles, defective parts, among others, are reused and re‑enter the production cycle.

The dust generated throughout the production cycle is used as biomass for energy recovery. It is also used to generate our own energy.

Energy management and saving are a constant concern of the company. Several investments have been made in order to reuse energy internally and reduce its consumption.

Every day we surpass ourselves to consume less and reuse more.
