GRANULATED CORK

Granulated cork (cork granules) results from the grinding of cork and cork waste. It is classified by granulometry and density. Its application is very diverse, the main one being technical cork stoppers. Insulation, footwear, civil construction, decorative pieces and gardening are also prominent applications.

Granulated cork is the main product of Dimas & Silva and vary between 0,2 to 8 mm granulometry. Disinfection is an additional process in the treatment of granulated cork that guarantees control in TCA values.

Broken is a product that results from the first grinding of cork. This product is mainly intended for civil construction and gardening applications.
